SMART NGO’s vertical: Civic Games Lab locates issues such as financial inclusion, climate conscious governance and WASH within their local tone of discourse; and delivers on their SBCC research by creating board or card games that are meant to further discourse and awareness on the issues.

Identifying gaps in People’s Plan Campaign, national and state-specific action plans on climate change.

Policy and stakeholder mapping of climate change mitigation and adaptation frameworks in rural Tamil Nadu.

Fieldwork

Creating user personas of villages based on fieldwork and interviews to infer localised narratives of climate change & resilience, structure of prioritising climate resilience in local governance, as well as examples of anticipatory governance and their toolkits.

Creating and conducting Needs Assessment Surveys, data cleanup and visualisation.

Drafting technical reports, submitting field reports and assisting with workshop design.

Testing game mechanics and improving game fidelity.
